This past week at Project4All looked like many others—busy, practical, and full of quiet momentum.
It kicked off with My Place Moraira cooking up nasi and gado gado. Ian, as usual, hit the road and delivered meals across the Costa. The following day, Jules stepped in with pasta e fagioli, and Ian was back out, getting it to those who needed it.
At the halfway home in Benissa, we started prepping for what’s ahead—Imogen will be joining us in the kitchen to prepare seventy meals for distribution in Denia, Javea, and Calpe. In between, Thursday was all about gnocchi, cooked and shared together, and Friday’s meals came courtesy of Hazen and Georgette, who made a solid Mexican chicken dish.
While the kitchen stayed full, the behind-the-scenes crew kept things moving. Arne, Aurelio, Jose, and Michel cleared out a large house, sorting through everything for the shop, the market, and our deliveries to Valencia. Over at Crickets Corner, Adri, Kik, Stuart, and Mayte kept their usual rhythm going. The new stairs in the garage were finished, thanks again to Adri, Kik, and Stuart. And when a fourth-floor apartment needed clearing—with no elevator—Pawell, Aurelio, and Jose stepped in and handled it without a fuss.
Steve managed the Wednesday food run and brought along clothes to distribute. Galaxia Teulada handled van maintenance, keeping us road-ready. And Flint quietly donated €20 from his birthday—no prompting, no noise, just a small gesture that meant a lot.
One moment that stood out came from Lora. She decided on her own to sell her artwork and donate the proceeds—€83—to the project. She just went ahead and did it. It’s the kind of initiative we’ve seen more of lately, especially from younger people.
Every little bit adds up. Meals get made. Deliveries go out. Spaces get cleared. People pitch in however they can.
The website’s still being rebuilt, but everything else is running as usual. If you’re looking to get involved—whether that’s time, gear, or a few euros—you’ll find us right here, doing what we do.
